Hi Jane, I hope you are well. I felt fantastic after the retreat! I slept really well on the Sunday night and felt energised and extremely positive after the experience. Every aspect of the retreat was perfect - the setting, food, accommodation, company, dancing, yoga, fresh air, hiking etc. The combination of these aspects together was absolutely magical and very special! I have no doubt that what added the magic to this experience was your energy, encouragement and enthusiasm! We packed a lot in but I don't think it was too much and people could opt out if they wanted to rest. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, looking forward to the next one!

JSD carried out a team building event for over 1000 teenagers in the RDS whereby she and her crew taught a choreographed dance routine in two hours which was then performed by the teens in the arena for RTE Television.

​

I engaged Jane Shortall for the Foroige Youth Citizen Awards to teach over 1000 Foroige members a Dance routine that they all performed at the end of the day. Jane was as ever prepared, punctual and professional, she had all the students, even the shyest up dancing, learning the routine. She and her dance team bought a great energy to the event and underpinned the concept that every young person should be engaged in some form of physical exercise every day! the students loved the activity and Jane instilled a real pride into their performance. I would not hesitate in recommending Jane for any student activity.

JSD led 5000 teenagers through a choreographed dance routine at the YOUNG SOCIAL INNOVATORS (YSI) Award Show at the City West Conference Centre in Tallaght. The YSI program is about empowering young people to create a better world. The teenagers feedback at the Young Social Innovators awards show was that the dance activity was by far the most enjoyable uplifting part of the day! they had a ball! it was incredible to witness such positive vibes, fun and energy among so many young people at one time. The song was ‘Happy’ and those teenagers were so happy dancing to that tune! Jane is a truly talented leader, communicator and motivator.

Jane has a special talent for dancing but more then this in my opinion is the infectious enthusiasm and positivity that she exudes. She has a special aura and vitality that lifts the energy in a room. My group of more then 20 7yr-9yr old kids that she has worked with now on a few occasions, have each time been completely captivated by this energy. They have loved learning the dance routines and she has easily held their focus and attention for their 1hr+ sessions. Jane definitely has a special connection with young people and has a special talent of getting down to their level to easily communicate.

The kids have absolutely loved their dance sessions with Jane, which are full of infectious vitality, energy and fun. Yet through all the fun they managed to remain focused enough to learn a full dance routine within a 1hr session!
