Chill out January 2019!

Ahhhhh January is here, the first day of a brand new year and watching 'Titanic' on TV!! Leonardo de Caprio in his role as Jack Dawson has just inspired me with his spontaneous approach to living life when he says....

"I love waking up in the morning not knowing whats going to happen or, who I'm gonna meet, where I'm gonna wind up. Just the other night I was sleeping under a bridge and now here I am on the grandest ship in the world having champagne with you fine people"

Leo's words remind me how exciting life can be when we dive into the unknown and open ourselves up to possibility, that feeling you can only get from sparky fun spontaneity, in other words exploring & living LIFE!

In my opinion, January is the worst time to start making New Years resolutions, especially on these dark cold wintery nights, oh yes, don't get me wrong, hill walking, yoga, pilates, the gym, sports or whatever it is that you do to clear the cobwebs after the festive season is definitely a good idea....of course you will feel less sluggish and more energised when you start being active again, but really, go easy and no pressure on pushing yourself because snuggling up on the couch by the fire watching Netflix boxsets, meeting friends, sleeping more, drinking hot chocolate, soaking in warm baths or just chilling out doing absolutely nothing is one of the very best ways to rejuvenate and prepare for the year ahead....

So when you do come out of hibernation & feel ready to try something new, challenging, a bit scary but fun; we are putting on a Charity 'ConfiDANCE' fundraiser showcase at the end of the next 8 Week ConfiDANCE Course. This exciting opportunity is optional and suitable for anyone who is up for a challenge and not afraid of jumping out of their comfort zone! All proceeds will go to Cancer Research.

keep interested & keep at it!" Jane Shortall
